Heliocentric, 2010, 15min

Heliocentric uses timelapse photography and astronomical tracking to plot the sun's trajectory across a series of landscapes. The entire environment seems to pan past the camera whilst the sun stays in the center of each frame, enabling us to gauge the earth's rotation and orbit around the sun. It invites viewers to contemplate our place in the cosmos and our perceptions of it.

<헬리오센트릭>은 타임랩스 사진과 천문학적 추적을 사용하여 여러 풍경을 횡단하는 태양의 궤적을 그린다. 태양은 각 프레임의 중심에 머무르게 고정하기에 이미지는 카메라를 향해 지나가는 것처럼 보이며, 이를 통해 우리는 지구의 자전과 태양 주위의 공전을 느낄 수 있다. 이 작품은 태양 중심주의적인 우주관을 다루며, 우리의 우주적인 위치와 우리가 어떻게 그것을 인식하는지에 대한 질문을 던진다.
