EMAP (Ewha Media Art Presentation), organized by Ewha Womans University, stands as a prominent outdoor media art event. Sparked by the invitation of artist Nam June Paik as a Distinguished Professor in 2001-2002, EMAP was born out of a deep interest in and support for media art. Over the years, the event, which has showcased various forms of media art including single-channel video, installation, interactive art, and performance, has played an important role in inspiring students' creative capabilities by spotlighting domestic and international women and emerging media artists.

이화 미디어 아트 프레젠테이션(EMAP)은 이화여자대학교에서 주최하는 중요한 야외 상영 행사로, 미디어 아트에 대한 이화여대 미술대학의 오랜 관심과 헌신을 반영하는 행사입니다. 2001~2002년 작가 백남준을 석좌교수로 초빙하면서 촉발된 EMAP는 미디어 아트에 대한 깊은 관심과 지원에서 시작되었습니다. 수년에 걸쳐 단채널 비디오, 설치, 인터랙티브 아트, 퍼포먼스 등 다양한 형태의 미디어 아트를 선보였던 이 행사는 국내외 여성, 신진 미디어 아티스트를 집중 조명함으로써 학생들의 창의적 역량을 고취하는 데 중요한 역할을 해왔습니다.
