Reflections, 2007, 13min 37sec

This work explores the relationship between thought and substance, reality and illusion, and the past and present through mirrors or reflections. Based on a story by the 19th Century Greek writer Lafcadio Hearn, who settled in Japan as Koizumi Yakumo, this film is a parable about how man is a creature that perpetually cannot see beyond his own reflection. It transcends time and space, offering audiences a diverse experience through a variety of images and sounds. 

이 작품은 거울이나 반사를 통해 사상과 실체, 현실과 환상, 그리고 과거와 현재의 관계를 탐구한다. 19세기 일본으로 이주하여 고이즈미 야쿠모로 알려진 그리스 출신 작가인 래프카디오 헌의 이야기를 바탕으로 한 이 영화는 인간이 자신의 반사된 이미지 너머를 영원히 보지 못하는 존재임을 비유한 이야기이다. 작품은 시간과 공간을 넘나들며 다채로운 영상과 사운드를 통해 관객에게 다채로운 경험을 제공한다.
