The Bohemian Rhapsody Project reimagines the hit song Bohemian Rhapsody(1975) by the British rock band Queen. The artist employs this well-known track to intertwine new elements with the existing mental image of the original song, offering a familiar yet novel experience. This work is a court drama styled as a musical, set in the Supreme Court of Singapore, reenacting a trial.
<보헤미안 랩소디 프로젝트>는 영국 록밴드 퀸의 히트곡 ‘보헤미안 랩소디’(1975)를 재구성한 작업이다. 작가는 작품에서 이미 매우 유명한 곡을 사용하는데, 기존의 머릿속에 있는 원곡에 대한 이미지에 새로운 요소들을 교차시킴으로써 익숙한 듯 낯선 경험을 제공하고자 한다. 이 작업은 싱가포르 최고 법원에서 열리는 재판을 뮤지컬 형식으로 재현한 일종의 법정 드라마이다.
