The Beauty of Days Pas explores elements based on reality, extending beyond mere aesthetic documentation or the artist's connection with Hong Kong. Initially centered on gender themes, the narrative shifted towards individual and urban interrelations following the artist's recovery from a severe illness in 1998. The work captures the evolving essence of Hong Kong, touching on redevelopment, the local music scene, and traditional festivities.
작가의 다큐멘터리는 현실에 기반한 시의적 요소로 이루어져 있다. 작가가 사용하는 텍스트와 이미지는 단순히 아름다움을 기록하거나 혹은 아티스트와 홍콩과의 관계를 서술하는 데 그치지 않는다. 1990년대 초 그녀가 비디오와 사운드 아트를 만들기 시작했을 때, 작가는 주로 젠더의 문제에 집중하였으나, 1998년 큰 병을 앓고 난 이후 그녀는 개인에게 초점을 맞추어 개인과 도시 간의 관계를 숙고하기 시작했다. 그녀의 작품들은 주로 홍콩의 변화의 모습을 다루며, 관동의 그녀의 이웃과 재개발 문제, 도시산업과 음악가들의 모습, 유령 축제 등을 주제로 다룬다.
