Cyberbeings, 2003
How can a human being become cyber being in the virtual reality? Can one day human mind be digitalized, like so-called cyber soul? Be stored in database, or uploaded to internet? To answer these questions, Laza created 3D Animation between 2003-2004 called <Cyberbeings>. She created seven Cyber-creatures, seven Cyber-cities, and seven Cyber-natural scenes in 3D animations, which showed her imaginations of the Cyberspace. Her Cyberbeings consists of images of desexualized figures, of a combination of animals, and of implying the seven deadly sins, seven guardian angels, seven qualities of human nature, or seven avatars of users on the Internet.
인간이 가상 현실에서 ‘사이버 존재’가 되는 방법은 무엇일까? 언젠가 인간의 마음이 디지털화되어, 이른바 사이버 영혼이 될 수 있을까? 데이터베이스에 저장되거나 인터넷에 업로드될 수 있을까? 이 질문에 대답하기 위해 라자는 2003년부터 2004년까지 <사이버존재들>을 만들었다. 이 작업은 사이버 공간에 대한 상상력을 보여주는 3D 애니메이션으로 일곱 가지 사이버 크리쳐, 사이버 도시, 그리고 사이버 자연 장면이 있다. 여기에는 성적 캐릭터의 이미지, 동물의 조합, 그리고 인터넷 사용자의 일곱 가지 죄악, 일곱 가지 수호 천사, 일곱 가지 인간의 성격 특징, 또는 일곱 가지 아바타를 시사하는 이미지들이 포함되어 있다.
