A Homecoming Artist captures the artist's return to his hometown near Tel Aviv, Petah Tikva, with a parade by car alongside his parents. In the video, the family asks people if they recognize or have heard of the artist parading, but, disappointingly, no one knows him, and many seem indifferent to their actions. This work highlights the cultural gap between art world figures and the general populace of small towns like his hometown.
<귀향하는 예술가>는 작가가 자신의 고향인 이스라엘 텔 아비브 근처의 작은 도시 페타 티크바로 귀향했을 때, 그의 부모님과 함께 차를 타고 가두행진을 한 모습을 다루고 있다. 영상에서 이 가족은 사람들에게 가두 행진을 하는 작가를 아는지 혹은 그에 대해 들어본 적이 있는지 물어보지만 안타깝게도 아무도 그를 알지 못한다고 대답하며, 심지어 그들의 행동을 전혀 신경을 쓰지도 않는다. 작가는 이 작품을 통해 미술계 인물들과 그의 고향과 같은 작은 소도시에 거주하는 일반 시민들 사이의 문화적 격차를 보여준다.
