Son Kwangju's work APPARITION is a 10-minute and 30-second video where one is trapped inside a slowly moving carousel gazing quietly outside as if looking at a shadow that remains unchanged as if time does not exist. This piece focuses on exploring the boundaries between reality and fantasy, existence and non-existence. Through the experience inside the carousel, Son Kwangju illuminates a surreal world transcending time and space astonishing and captivating the audience.
손광주의 작품 <환영>은 10분 30초 영상으로, 일정한 속도로 움직이는 곤돌라에 갇혀 가만히 밖을 들여다보다 마치 시간이 존재하지 않는 듯 언제나 그 자리에 그대로 있는 한 그림자를 바라본다. 이 작품은 현실과 환상, 존재와 비존재의 경계를 탐색하는 데 초점을 맞추고 있다. 손광주는 곤돌라 안에서의 경험을 통해 시간과 공간을 뛰어넘는 비현실적인 세계를 조명하며 관객들을 놀라게 하고 매료시킨다.
