The last film in the programme, Os Humores Artificiais presents a form of kinship that expands beyond the human realm. Blending traditions inherent in stand-up comedy and documentary, the film follows a young indigenous girl from the Xingu National Park to São Paulo, Brazil. There, she falls in love with ‘Andy Coughman,’ a flying robot modeledafter René Magritte’s spherical bells.
<Os Humores Artificiais>는 인간 범위를 확장시키는 친밀성을 선보인다. 스탠드업 코미디와 다큐멘터리의 전통적인 양식들을 혼합하는 본 단편 영화는 브라질 싱구국립공원에서부터 사우파울루까지의 젊은 원주민 소녀의 여정을 기록한다. 사우파울루에 도착한 그녀는 초현실주의 화가 르네 마그리트의 구형 종을 모델로 한 비행 로봇 ‘앤디 코프먼’과 사랑에 빠지게 된다.
