As Seoyeon Park, like an alchemist turning substances into powder, wishes for the world to transform into the one she desires through magical power, she instead finds herself being pulled back into an unknown world.
It's as if karma is driving a cycle, endlessly repeating.
This stop-motion animation captures the transformation of symbols from a painting: a bird with dozens of eyes, a stone-built altar, an ouroboros, a parchment, and a ruptured whale, all morphing into something else.
박서연은 연금술사가 가루로 무언가를 만들어내듯, 마법같은 힘에 의해 그녀가 원하는 세상으로 변하기를 바라지만 실상은 다시 알수 없는 세상으로 빨려들어간다. 마치 업보처럼, 돌고돈다. 회화 속에 등장하는 눈이 수십개 달린 조류, 돌로 쌓여진 제단, 우로보노스, 양피지, 등 터진 고래 등의 도상이 무언가로 변신하는 과정을 담은 스탑모션 애니메이션이다.
