The 2014 EMAP, curated by Seo Jin-seok, sought to expand video art exhibitions outdoors, blending digital media art with natural settings aesthetically. It aimed to combine the rawness of nature with advanced media art, offering a unique encounter. The program featured eight sections, showcasing works from musicians, artists, and celebrities, centered around 'pop'. EMAP emphasized the fusion of lyrics, images, colors, and musical narratives, allowing an immersive experience of modern media art amidst nature's primal essence.


2014년 EMAP의 서진석 초빙 큐레이터의 기획 의도는 영상예술 전시 장소를 야외로 확장하여 자연환경에 디지털 기술 기반의 첨단 미디어아트를 미학적으로 조합하는 것이었다. 즉, 자연과 숲에서 느껴지는 원초성과 인간의 첨단 테크놀로지를 기반으로 한 미디어아트를 매치시켜 참여자에게 독특한 경험을 선사하는 것이다. 프로그램은 8개의 섹션으로 구성되어 있으며, ’팝’을 중심으로, 음악가, 예술가, 유명인들의 다양한 작품을 소개한다. 2014년 EMAP는 노래 가사, 이미지, 색상 효과, 문학적 감성, 시적 감성 및 음악적 내러티브의 예술적 융합을 강조했다. 이러한 시도는 참가자들에게 자연과 숲의 원시적 감각에 현대 기술에 기반을 둔 최신 미디어 아트를 조화롭게 경험할 수 있게 한다.
